London, November 4, 2002 - CNET Channel today announced the appointment of Jean-Francois Guyomar as senior vice president of worldwide sales. In this position, Guyomar is responsible for leading the CNET Channel sales team, driving revenue, and building strategic channel partner alliances. This appointment reflects CNET Channel's continued commitment to providing the channel community with a wide range of products and services related to catalog maintenance, product content delivery, channel relationship management, and sales cycle automation, that help them run more efficient businesses.

Formerly international vice president at Resonate Inc, Guyomar led the creation of EMEA subsidiaries in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the Nordic region. Other responsibilities included managing the EMEA sales team, and building strong channel partnerships across all regions. In addition, Guyomar was instrumental in winning key customers including BMW, Fiat, Bank of Ireland, and Daimler Chrysler. Prior to Resonate, Guyomar held senior positions at Backweb Technology and Netscape.
