London, 18 November 2002, CNET Channel today announced the appointment of its latest addition to the European sales team, James Symington. Based in the UK, Symington will lead the UK sales division and be responsible for strengthening and developing the CNET Channel brand in this region. This new appointment is a reflection of CNET Channel's continued growth and future plans to expand the company's existing UK channel portfolio and provide partners and customers with e-business solutions based on CNET Channel's standardized and structured electronic product information.

Prior to joining CNET Channel, Symington was regional manager (UK, Ireland, South Africa and Benelux) for Resonate Inc, where he was responsible for initiating the sales operation in all territories and building and maintaining a strong sales and channel pipeline.
