ChannelSupply" Provides Electronic Interface Between Suppliers and VARs; D&H Distributing Signs on as First U.S. Supplier.

San Francisco, December 4, 2002 - CNET Channel, a business unit of CNET Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNET), today announced ChannelSupply™, a marketplace solution that links distributors and manufacturers to ChannelOnline™, CNET Channel's sales cycle automation tool, which is used by an online community of several hundred Value Added Reseller (VARs) companies. Using ChannelSupply, distributors and manufacturers can publish their product catalogs and real-time pricing and availability information on ChannelOnline, as well as give VARs the ability to submit electronic purchase orders via an easy-to-use ordering system, and access a real-time tracking system.

D&H Distributing, a leading wholesale distributor of technology products, is the first U.S. supplier to use ChannelSupply to serve its existing customer base more efficiently while expanding its business to a wider circle of VARs, ultimately increasing its revenue potential while reducing costs. All of the company's product, pricing and availability information is now available on ChannelOnline (www.channelonline.com), allowing VARs to submit electronic purchase orders directly to D&H.

"ChannelSupply will provide us three clear benefits: significant cost savings by automating key parts of our sales cycle, the opportunity to increase sales by expanding our VAR customer base and the ability to enhance our customer service," said Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at D&H. "We are very pleased with the initial response from VARs. This is a key move for us, and we are excited to be ahead of the curve in adopting this solution with CNET Channel, which has an outstanding reputation in this space."

ChannelOnline is an integrated Web-based application for VARs that connects and automates the entire sales cycle by pulling critical company information and resources together into one centralized location. As a result, VARs are better able to streamline the day-to-day processes associated with product sourcing, procurement, sales, and back-office integration. By adding electronic procurement capabilities, and creating a state-of-the-art online researching, buying and selling environment, ChannelSupply provides seamless electronic communication between distributors and VARs.

"With its ChannelOnline application, CNET Channel has aggregated a powerful community of VARs that collectively generate more than $4 billion in quotes and orders per year," said Albert de Heer, president, CNET Channel. "Now, with ChannelSupply, distributors gain valuable access to this active and interested buying and selling community. The adoption of ChannelSupply by a leading distributor like D&H further validates that the future of the distribution channel lies in online connectivity throughout the entire supply chain."
