CNET Channel's DataSource™ Provides Komplett's Technology Buying Customers Faster and Easier Access to Essential Purchasing Information.

St-Legier, February 3, 2003 - CNET Channel, a business unit of CNET Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNET) and Komplett (Oslo:KOM), a leading European player in Internet shopping, today announced that they signed an agreement to provide Komplett's online shoppers with timely, structured, and searchable technology product information. Komplett is using CNET Channel's DataSource, a product catalog maintenance service focused on technology products, to provide its users in Norway, Sweden, UK, Ireland and Germany the product information they need for a seamless online researching and buying experience.

"After doing extensive research on other data services and looking into managing product information in-house, we found that outsourcing product data to the experts at CNET Channel simply makes the most sense for us," said Eric Sandtro, CEO, Komplett. "We are creating new cost efficiencies by outsourcing a necessary but resource-intensive data maintenance function. Thanks to a quick two-month integration process , we have achieved a new level of service for our customers within an extremely short period of time. By enhancing our Internet shops with CNET Channel's product data, we provide an improved purchase environment and expect to attract more visitors and increase the customer conversion rate."

Komplett's European Internet shops offer visitors a wide range of technology products, such as PCs, computer system components, home electronics and related equipment. Komplett recorded more than 3,8 million visits in the third quarter of 2002, which resulted in approximately 94,500 orders.

"We are very pleased to be partnering with an Internet leader such as Komplett to serve and support their European Internet technology shops with our standardized multilingual and multi-vendor product information, " said Albert de Heer, president of CNET Channel. "Our products and solutions are gaining significant traction in the European market and are setting the standard for efficient and informed technology buying and selling across the IT supply channel."

DataSource is a product catalog maintenance service, which transforms, on demand, the customer's product portfolio into rich, granular, and standardized product data, called Transactive Product Data™ (TPD™). TPD enables customers to build an enhanced, multilingual, multi-vendor and well-informed purchase environment at a fraction of the cost of most internal operations. It can be stored in any e-commerce platform product database to enable Web sites' searching, comparing, and configuring functionalities. The component-based product information allows the building of fully customizable product information pages. CNET Channel currently offers more than 1.5 million SKU's worldwide from 5,000 manufacturers in its multilingual TPD format- available in 12 languages.
