CNET Channel Announces Plans to Improve its UNSPSC Classification Option; Enable Support of Multiple UNPSC Versions SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — November 15, 2005 Striving to better serve our customer's needs, CNET Channel is in the process of improving our UNSPSC classification option and enabling support of multiple UNPSC versions — including a number of older versions released by ECCMA and UNDP. To be able to support multiple versions, we will introduce three new tables to the DataSource™ client export schema (download.zip). Initially, these tables will co-exist with the UNSPSC tables we currently use to distribute UNSPSC data. After a five-month transition period (on May 15, 2006), we plan to stop delivering the old UNSPSC tables. These tables will be added to the client export schema on December 5, 2005:
