CNET Channel Launches ChannelOnline™ for the Point-of-Sale (POS) and Data Capture Market
Collaborates with Ingram Micro® to Serve its Growing Data Capture/POS Division

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.  February 27, 2007 — CNET Channel, a property of CNET Networks, Inc., today announced the launch of its latest version of ChannelOnline specifically targeted at the POS and data capture markets. This release continues CNET Channel's ongoing efforts to extend ChannelOnline™ to VARs and other resellers specializing in adjacent IT markets.

Since 2000, ChannelOnline has been the leading sales cycle automation solution — today enabling more than 3,000 VAR professionals in the U.S. and Canada to improve sales productivity, sourcing profitability, and customer service levels. Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest technology distributor, has aligned with CNET Channel to create a version of ChannelOnline tailored for its Data Capture/POS Division (formerly Nimax) customers.

"We are excited to collaborate again with Ingram Micro and deliver a custom ChannelOnline solution to its Data Capture and POS customers" said Jonathan Merrell, vice president of product development, CNET Channel. "This enables CNET Channel to service a new category of resellers, and empower them with proven business tools to integrate and streamline every step of the sales cycle — from sourcing, quoting and order management through procurement and e-commerce."

Ingram Micro's POS, AIDC and data capture solution providers now have a single source that provides all the tools and information its sales, buyers and engineers need at each step of the sales process. ChannelOnline's Web-based work environment enables VARs and solution providers to see a customer request, check purchase history, research and select relevant products, view comprehensive datasheets, check availability, set pricing, create and track a quote with it all integrating into the back-office. To ensure speed and accuracy, buyers use the same system to place orders directly into Ingram Micro's order processing system via ChannelOnline's seamless connection to the distributor.

"We are pleased to team with CNET Channel and offer our Data Capture and POS partners a new, high-value business solution that can quickly and efficiently drive more sales and boost profitability," says John Soumbasakis, Vice President and General Manager, Ingram Micro Data Capture/POS Division. "ChannelOnline's expertise in sales cycle automation and e-commerce storefront technology presents a winning combination for VARs of all sizes who are looking for an affordable and scalable online sales solution."

Pricing & Availability
ChannelOnline for the POS and data capture market is available immediately to VARs and solution providers in the U.S. and Canada. The exclusive offer for Ingram Micro customers is priced at $295 per month (including one seat and a public store*) and a one-time $1,000 fee for set-up and training.

Joseph Gabriel, CEO of Southern Computer Warehouse (SCW) and Ingram Micro customer, comments "ChannelOnline enables SCW to maximize the productivity of our sales force and purchasing teams. With it, they do more value-added work, instead of spending hours researching for product information. It enables them to go out and get new business or better service existing customers."
